After turning down trials with Bristol City FC and The Sugababes to pursue a career in the film industry as an underpaid runner, I turned to journalism. After 15 years of writing for a broad range of newspapers and mags including The Guardian, The Mirror and just about every consumer and B2B IT mag, I moved to Bath. I helped grow a local PR firm and worked on some great clients such as Last.fm, Rockstar Games, Capcom and Viadeo before leaving and starting-up Marcom PR. I’m still ignoring calls from The Sugababes but you’re never too old to dream about playing football, so a friend told me.
