An audience with Sir Vince Cable

The Right Honourable Sir Vince Cable, perhaps Britain’s most respected politician, is an engaging and fascinating speaker, and on April 18th he addresses the marketing community as a guest of The Levitt Group.

At this event, Sir Vince will describe his views on the current financial situation, the competitiveness of British business and the steps that are necessary to improve our country’s long term competitiveness and prosperity. This evening will be relevant and useful to anyone working in business and marketing in particular.

Everyone attending our evening, at the Royal Society of Medicine, London W1,  will receive a copy of Sir Vince’s latest book ‘After the Storm’.

Our evening on Monday, April 18th, with begin at 18.00 with light refreshments and networking. At 19:00, Sir Vince Cable will present in person. After his presentation, he will take questions from the audience. The meeting is expected to conclude at 21.00.

Sir Vince Cable studied economics at Cambridge and Glasgow and was later special advisor to John Smith, an advisor to the British government and the Commonwealth Secretary-General. He was also Chief Economist at Shell. A founding member of the Social Democratic Party, he has held the posts of Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer, Shadow Secretary of State for Trade & Industry and Treasury Spokesman and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats. From 2010 to 2015, he was Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.
